The most important thing that anyone can do is to reach another life with the Gospel of LORD Jesus Christ. This has been the heartbeat of our ministry since it began in March 2009 after my resignation at UGA Office. I worked there 2 and half years, reason of my resignation was a skin disease which attacked me on my feet and doctors said that you have to take rest and keep your feet clean and ask me not to use shoes or sandal for at least three months, they said that you have to take very good care of it otherwise there is a risk that it will expand on your body and then you will not be able to control it, it can result into having your feet amputated, this was quite shocking news for me to have my feet cut off. I prayed to my Lord to please heal my feet and I WILL SERVE YOU. Then miraculously my feet started healing very rapidly, I was very happy but I did not forget my promise to Lord that I WILL SERVE YOU, I started praying for myself and asked The Lord to use me for the glory of His Kingdom.
On 20th March 2009.I received a phone call from a Pastor. He asked me to come to his village and participate in the open air healing crusade. I prayed to my Lord that if it is your call please provides me sources to reach there because I was jobless those days. Lord did arrange all the expenses and on the date given by Pastor I was in Crusade. After the crusade I had a chance to meet some other pastors there and shared my testimony with them, I told them all about my skin disease and how Lord healed me, they prayed for me, I told them that I want to serve my LORD in HIS field, they said that you are young and it is strange that you have such views in your life, they listened to me very carefully, I shared with them how I have promised with my Lord and HE healed me, now my mind was set to the target to get the healing power of my Lord to other people and specially to those who don’t know about Lord Jesus Christ because I was healed and I wanted to tell everybody about the True Healer who give us physical and spiritual healing.
I shared with them that I have deep desire to work for lost and take them out of death to the living God, they all like my vision I was amazed at myself how I spoke in between all those pastors and other leaders, they said that Lord has given you the vision to work among the Lost people so we will work with you and all of us will win souls for Jesus Christ together, I told them that Lord has given me a name of Ministry, it was not decided, Lord gave me the words while I was standing there and talking to them, it was “GOOD SAMARITAN.
When I came back to home. I was thinking about the crusade and all the discussion we had there, I was very happy that Lord had given me a vision and now I will be working for Him in my life; there was so many challenges for me to cover to continue my vision about GSM (Good Samaritan Ministries).
I was worrying about my job, about my studies, about my family so I started praying to my Lord to give me the wisdom and strength to meet all these challenges, when my family came to know about my vision and ambition they were surprised, my mother also started praying for me and my father gave me 60000 Pakistani rupees to start the LORD work and I bought some Christian Literature, Bibles and other material.
I also helped some Pastors financially because in villages there are no major source of income and all the pastors were serving Lord fulltime, so I felt to help them even with little support because I believe that “ Little is much when God is in it “. The amount which my father gave to me was finished soon, it was the savings of my father which he had given to me, but now when we started LORD work I did not want to stop the work, I started praying to Lord to provide financial help so we can continue our work.
This is how it was all started.
